Leaving the MTC
We finished our training at the MTC today and are leaving for St. George in the morning. We will work at the St. George temple until our visas arrive. We have enjoyed these past two weeks so much. Last Tuesday Elder Holland spoke at our fireside and gave a wonderful talk on the future of missionary work. It is exciting to see how many have responded to the announcement of the age change to serve a mission. Last week the MTC received 400 new missionaries, this week there were 640 new missionaries (300 were sisters). Next week they are expecting over 800 new missionaries. They are all so excited to be here and it has been so fun to be part of it and feel their enthusiasm.
